course focuses on the fundamentals of modern engineering
and technology in the information and communications
age. Engineering and design examples are drawn from
wireless and telecommunications, the Internet,

popular in today’s culture, Students will be exposed to
new and relevant applications of mathematics, science
and technology particularly modeling and designing with

This is a college-level course that begins with a
thorough review of basic data analysis, graphical data
analysis and data distributions. It quickly proceeds to
a study of the concepts and techniques of correlation,
regression, experimental design, sampling probability,
random variables, and statistical inference including
the Z test, t test and Chi-Square test. All students
will be using a graphing calculator with statistical
capability.

Statistics Examination.
