Brigitte Pronty
Prior to the 2010-2011 school year Ms. Pronty served as the Assistant Principal at Clark K-8 School for three years. Before becoming an Assistant Principal in CMSD, Ms. Pronty taught grades 2-5 in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District. Brigitte was born and raised in the Cleveland area. Brigitte always knew that she had a future in education. She graduated from the University of Akron with a BA degree in Elementary Education in May, 1998. She went on to complete her graduate degree at Ashland University in Ashland, Ohio. She graduated with her Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction in May, 2000. Brigitte has dedicated her life to the field of Education. She is a member of several professional organizations; National Alliance of Blasck School Educators, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, International Reading Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated. Ms. Pronty has had the opportunity to travel abroad to learn about the educational system and government in Japan and Budapest.
Brigitte was influenced by her teachers in elementary school who helped her to believe that she had great potential and provided support for her to pursue her dreams. In tribute to the education that made a difference in her life, it is her mission to make sure that each child at Watterson Lake is afforded every opportunity to develop to their highest potential.
