About PROM/SE....

(Promoting Rigorous Outcomes in Mathematics and Science Education) is a National Science Foundation funded professional development program.  PROM/SE is a partnership between Michigan State University, the Science and Mathematics Achievement Required for Tomorrow (SMART) Consortium, High Achievement In Math and Science (AIMS), several school districts throughout Ohio, and three school districts in Michigan.

The PROM/SE partnership is founded in part on the premise that the best way to reach the destination of mathematics and science literacy for all students is to have a plan of action based on data.  The data in turn, should be used as a means to identify, design and provide professional development tailored to the needs and circumstances of the teachers and students.
