Mission Statement
The mission of Giddings School is to maintain a school
climate conducive to learning, encouraging good citizenship,
attendance, and high academic standards by involving all
students, staff, parents, community and partners. Giddings
students are preparing themselves for future success in school
and in the world.
The Vision
We the staff, school community and partners of Giddings
School will ensure and improve student achievement in literacy,
mathematics and all content areas. Strengthening attendance of
all students and a rigorous instructional program will yield
academic growth and self-esteem. Maximum student potential will
be realized through various methods of instruction, technology,
higher-level thinking and creative expression. Hence, standards
will drive instruction at Giddings.
