MISSION STATEMENT
It
is the vision of the Cleveland
Metropolitan School District that
every student in our Early
Childhood grades
(Pre-K-3) will be successful in a rigorous instructional program
which addresses the language and cognitive development, social,
emotional, and physical needs of each student. The mission of
the Early Childhood Office is to create a rich and stimulating,
child centered environment in every classroom using
developmentally appropriate teaching strategies that incorporate
individual, small and whole group instruction in an
experiential, center-based setting. Each student will be valued
for his/her unique experiences and learning style in order to
become a successful independent learner.
