Instrumental Music courses include Intermediate Band (6, 7, 8), Advanced Band (HS), Beginning Intermediate and Advanced Strings, Advanced Orchestra, Jazz Orchestra, Instrumental Ensembles, Solo Opportunities, General Music (Pre-Theory) (6, 7, 8), Music Theory 1 & 2, Composing and Arranging, Music History, Conducting, Jazz Theory, and Keyboard Pedagogy.
Opportunities in the Excellence in Music Project (Jazz with Oberlin College and Cuyahoga Community College), Brass, Woodwind, & String Quartets and Quintets, Percussion Ensemble, Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Combo, Concert Band, tickets to performances of Apollo Fire, Ohio Chamber Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra, and other performing groups; visiting artists, Cavani String Quartet, Ohio Chamber Orchestra Ensembles, Count Basie Jazz Orchestra, Terrance Blanchard, Uptown String Quartet, Max Roach; Scholarship Lessons at Cleveland Music School Settlement, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
