Pacing Charts
Pacing charts are valuable tools that help teachers set
realistic goals toward achieving grade level expectations
throughout the course of the academic year. The Department
of Arts Education is making every effort to post ALL the
pacing charts applicable to our disciplines on our web site
as quickly as possible. |

Sharing Lesson
Plans is a great way to utilize shared resources and develop
a sense of unity within our Department. Look for future
links that will give you valuable planning units to take to
your classroom. If you have great lesson plans that fit our
Standards, please e-mail them (as a Word Document
attachment) to you respective discipline Administrator, and
we will make every effort to get them on line..... |

ICARE
The
Initiative for Cultural Arts in Education (ICARE) is a program that
supports long-term arts-focused educational partnerships between the
Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) and the Northeast Ohio
cultural community. ICARE seeks to improve student achievement in
both the arts and academic subjects. The partnerships treat the arts
as a way of learning, a catalyst for motivating students and
expanding their world. In ICARE partnerships, the arts become part
of the daily education of students, both as distinct disciplines and
in combination with other subjects. |
