Orchard STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) School at Halle offers the students an opportunity to participate in learning that requires them to solve problems using the Problem-Based Learning Design. This is a minds-on hands-on program organized around the investigation and resolution of messy, real-world problems. PBL is a learning environment in which teachers coach student thinking and guide student inquiry, facilitating learning toward deeper levels of understanding. All PBL Designs include integrated standards based lessons, performance based assessments, and presentations. By using Problem Based Learning to support our STEM program we are preparing our students for the 21st Century.
