CLEVELAND -- People often say, the reason young families leave Cleveland is because of troubled schools.

Well, Cleveland schools are facing a new curveball from Tuesday night's news that 300 teachers are keeping their jobs.

Today's news? Where exactly will the money to pay those teachers come from?

The quick math? $13 million pays for roughly 300 teacher salaries. Those 300 teachers learned last night from the Cleveland school board that they'll keep their jobs.

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District would rather keep a 40-1 teacher to student ratio than let it go higher.

But at what cost?

How about eliminating summer school and preschool, deep cuts to securing schools, feeding students, as well as sports and arts programs?

Is that a fair trade?
