Mayor Frank Jackson has selected Lisa Thomas to fill the current vacancy on the Cleveland Metropolitan School District's Board of Education.

"Lisa Thomas, Ph.D., is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Care Alliance Health Center, and has significant experience in the public sector, business and the non-profit sector," a City Hall press release reads.

Thomas earned a doctoral degree in Urban Policy and Public Affairs from Cleveland State University, an MBA from Baldwin Wallace College and a bachelor's degree in History and Political Science from Coe College.  <<See article
