East Tech and Collinwood boys’ basketball teams have advanced to the finals at the Kirtland District’s OHSAA State tournament. Collinwood will play East Tech on Saturday March 13, 2010 at Lakeland Community College for the Division II District finals.

The students of Martin Luther King Jr. Career Campus welcome prestigious Morehouse College President, Dr. Robert M. Franklin to their school. Dr. Franklin will address a group of 9th grade males that are a part of the Governor’s Initiative for Closing the Achievement Gap. Franklin’s comments will focus on the importance of African American males embracing and pursuing education on all levels and the legacy of Morehouse College.
