Enrollment Information
You must enroll your child at the Multilingual Assessment Center if you answer “yes” to any of the following questions:
- Did the child learn to speak a first language other than English?
- Is the language most often spoken by the child one other than English?
- Is the language most often spoken in the child’s home one other than English regardless of the language spoken by the child?
A language assessment is administered to determine programmatic eligibility and meet student needs. The areas of assessment are:
- Reading
- Writing
- Listening
- Speaking
- Comprehension
