Glenville Student Athletes

Sign Letters of Intent

CLEVELAND, Oh – Cleveland Metropolitan School District officials announced today that eight students from the Glenville Academic Campus have signed letters of intent to attend college on basketball scholarships this fall. The eight students and colleges they plan to attend are:

Girls:

Denise Tate            Florida A& M University

Mariah Holt              Kentucky State University

Deneen Tate           Kentucky State University

Jihann Williams      University of Charleston

Boys:

Eddie Bonner              Wilberforce University

Ben Wallace                Wilberforce University

Omar Tolbert               Cuyahoga Community College

Kenneth McCornell    College/University to be announced

Schools CEO Barbara Byrd-Bennett said, “We wish each of these student athletes well. They have excelled both in the classroom and on the basketball court, and I know their success will continue as they further their education.”
