On Friday, September 22, 2006, the
Cleveland Bar Association launched its 3Rs Program (Rights,
Responsibilities and Realities) in collaboration with the
District. The effort has dispatched nearly 700 lawyers,
judges, and law students committed to spending a day a month
in 10th grade District classrooms tutoring students on the
nuances of the U.S. Constitution, and assisting with the
civics portion of the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT). Beyond
this, Bar Association teams provide career counseling, and
encourage students to further their education. A spirited
rally held outside the District's Administration Building
preceded the 3Rs first day in classrooms.
