CURRICULUM
  • Students can not keep up in major subjects – need & decrease in ESP

  • Middle grade students can assist with torturing in grades PreK-4

SAFETY & SECURITY
  • What measures are taken to reduce the numbers of students leaving our buildings without permission?

Curfew tickets during school hours ($100.00 fine)
  • How can we deal with students breaking into our building (Emile B. eSauze)?

Employee will give name to Chief Fultz
  • Are locker searches being done? Are we checking for drugs?

CMSD picks High Schools with dogs, occurred twice last year.
Metal detectors are deterrents for drugs also.
  • What is being done about Sexual Predators?

Not directly a CMSD responsibility. Chief Fultz received reports.
Photo machine will help because various databases are checked.
  • What happens if they are deemed an offender?

If person is a parent, this could be an issue that would warrant person to be banned from school.
  • How difficult is it to change protocol? If there is an incident, can we leave the building?

Yes! We will evacuate the building. Safety is first.
  • How can we get more security around our school? (Emile B. deSauze)

CMSD has spent over 1 million dollars to improve schools.

Employees could be fired if they had criminal background

SPO presidents also must get checked
