Communications/Media Relations
The External Affairs Division is the hub of all communications in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District, where timely and effective communications is a team effort.
The District strives each day to keep students, parents, CMSD employees, citizens and the news media informed of events and progress in our schools. Members of our staff strive to create and maintain the District's image of quality and professional through a variety of publications.
PREMIER! is Dr. Eugene T.W. Sanders' electronic newsletter e-mailed monthly to a growing list of civic, corporate and community partners of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Its purpose is to share news and information about staff and student success as the District continues on its 'Path to Premier.'

CMSD E-Communicator is a monthly newsletter e-mailed to parents and citizens in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Its purpose is to keep stakeholders informed of current events and progress in our schools and to foster pride and a continuous communication link between the schools and the community.

INSIDE DISTRICT NEWS (IDN) is a monthly electronic newsletter sent to all CMSD staff, containing news and information about what's happening in our buildings and classrooms. Staff are encouraged to submit story tips and photos weekly for sharing news of student and staff activities and of academic, athletic and community success.
