Welcome back to the 2011-2012 school year!

Back to School message from the CEO

August 5, 2011

To the Parents & Guardians of Cleveland’s children:

The first day of school is August 24 for most Cleveland students, and that date is rapidly approaching. I wanted to take the time to let you know how honored I am to have been selected to serve as the Cleveland Metropolitan School District’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after serving four years as Chief Academic Officer (CAO) for the District. I accepted this important position with both a firm commitment and a continued promise to put every child in our schools on a path to graduation and to success beyond high school.

As excitement for the first day of school builds, our staff is ready to assist parents whose children attend our schools and parents who are still exploring the many school options we provide. To all of you, our student assignment desk stands ready to help you with your enrollment needs and to answer any questions you have about transportation... Read more:  English | Spanish
